Top pick: #4 (A GREAT PLANET) - Competitive runner finished second here sprinting on November 15 and he drops a level and stretches-out in distance off of it. He ran well going "long" at Turfway in the fall and he just looks best of these.
2nd pick: #5 (Put up Ira) - Good barn (John Taylor) has freshened this gelding up since early September when he debuted at Evangaline on the grass against tougher. Drops and goes turf to dirt. Player at a square price.
3rd pick: #11 (Leeisiana Blues) - Excellent barn (Pat Moutin) sends out this gelding by "Leestown" who has broken slowly in his first pair sprinting. He finished a dozen lengths behind the top pick last out but could narrow that gap with a "clean" getaway.
