Top pick: #3 (ISLAND SOUL) - $230,000 son of "Perfect Soul" finished third in his debut at Churchill from a difficult post (the rai) and at a tough distance for a first time starter. He's sent around two-turns today by America"s leading trainer (Steve Asmussen) who's solid 2nd time out (28%) and strong on the distance increase (22%). Can "upset" the favorite.
2nd pick: #7 (Pulpit's Secret) - Probable heavy favorite was bet down to 3-1 in his debut at Churchill and hung on doggedly to win but was disqualofied for a bumping incident. He'll go short to long today and should be in it from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #2 (Henceforth) - Has good speed and will also try two-turns for the first time. Improving and in a barn (Dalls Stewart) that's better than it's '09 record.
4th pick: #1 (Ricky Tick) - He tired last out in his first attempt at a route, but it came off a 2 1/2 month layof and he should be "tighter" for this contest.
