Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (WAR OF WILL) (2-1) - He's won three in a row and is looking to sweep the three-race series that the Fair Grounds has for possible Kentucky Derby (G1) contenders. A son of 'War Front', he won the G3 Le Compte Jan. 19, then galloped home to score in the Risen Star (G2) Feb. 16. Trainer Mark Casse loves this horse and says he hasn't yet reached his peak.
2nd pick: #10 (Spinoff) (5-1) - An interesting runner from the barn of Todd Pletcher, home bred by 'Hard Spun' has won two of three and finished third in the Saratoga Special (G2) last August. Stalker was a very impressive winner in his 2019 debut Feb. 22 at Tampa Bay Downs and he earned a high figure for a lightly raced colt. He's a threat today at a square price.
3rd pick: #5 (By My Standards) (20-1) - Colt moves way up in class in his first facing winners. He broke his maiden here going 8.5 furlongs Feb. 16 and has been working very fast for this attempt. Believe he's capable of getting a share at huge odds.

A son of 'Lemon Drop Kid', he had some traffic issues when finishing just over 7 lengths in back of 'War of Will' here Feb. 16. It was his first start since late November and he came back with a pair of local bullet works heading into this assignment.
5th pick: #9 (Bankit) (15-1) - The second of the Asmussen pair, he's had extremely wide trips in his last pair. New York-bred has ability and seems like the type that will like this 9-furlong distance. $260,000 purchase is capable of impacting at a big price.
