2nd pick: #1 (Hey Court Lady) (3-1) - Lightly raced and much improved of late, filly is 4-2-1-0 since late Sept. She finished second here at this level & distance on Dec. 28th. Freshened up for the past month, one run type draws the rail and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Apples Lastchance) (9-2) - Lightly raced and speedy, filly is 5-2-1-2 racing on the dirt. Last out she chased the pace while wide and weakened in the final furlong to check in third, 2 1/2 lengths back of 'Hey Court Lady.' She worked a big bullet half-mile Jan. 17th and is very dangerous if allowed to get an easy early lead.
