Top pick: #1 (MIZZEN'S WAKE) - Lightly raced (10-2-3-1) and in a good barn (Wally Dollase) gelding ran well here last winter while still a maiden and comes here off a late October layoff when he finished 2nd on the Keeneland "Poly" racing for $50K. Working well and nicely spotted by the barn, the rail draw is another plus.
2nd pick: #5 (Option) - Another lightly raced colt (9-1-2-2) he races out of condition as he's eligible for a 2l race. That said, he fits and stretches-out off an even effort at this tag sprinting on Dec.18th. Albarado climbs back aboard and he was aloft in his maiden win at Saratoga.
3rd pick: #6 (Lucky Tradition) - He races off a 6 week break and when last seen he was picking-up his 2nd win here on Nov.26th racing for $10K. Consistent sort can contend with his best.
