Top pick: #8 (MYPALCHARLIEBROWN) (5-2) - He enters in sharp form and is moving up in class in his first off an Allen Landry claim. Speed/stalker has been gelded since the May 15 barn switch and was a much classier runner earlier in his career.
2nd pick: #7 (Tough Thomas) (3-1) - The main speed, he's much improved of late. Four-year-old gelding has won two in a row and was an easy gate-to-wire winner here going 7-furlongs in an entry-level allowance for fellow state-breds April 30. It was his first since an impressive maiden win at Delta Downs Feb 28. Obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (C U Tiger) (8-1) - Longshot moves up in class, goes turf to dirt, and stretches out in distance. Stalker was a winner here in a grass sprint facing $15K 'open' 2l claimers May 14. He's won on dirt in the past and is trying a two-turn trip for the first time.
4th pick: #2 (Connor's Ace) (6-1) - Strong finisher has been competitive in six of his last seven starts. He ships from Louisiana Downs where he won an allowance May 25. In career best form and a threat if he can handle this tighter surface.
