Top pick: #7 (EL TANTO) (8-1) - One of two entered by trainer Paul Johnson and the pair race uncoupled. Lightly raced 4-year-old has improved visibly in his last pair and has shown good early speed in each. In career best shape and he's stringing starts together following a long layoff.
2nd pick: #2 (Stormin Red Rose) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, he finished a close up second here at this level May 13. Gelding tired in his follow up start and is cutting back in distance for this attempt.
3rd pick: #8 (Production Line) (6-1) - He's working nicely since tiring at Delta Downs when debuting on Jan 1. The second of the Johnson pair, he's a threat if he runs to his a.m. moves.
4th pick: #4 (Wildsafado) (7-2) - He's finished second in two straight, the latest here at this tag and trip June 5. An obvious threat, but will be over-bet.
