Both have come at this level, one each on dirt and turf. $65,000 purchase runs off a private trainer change to Bret Calhoun and this 3yo filly looks set for her maiden win.
2nd pick: #4 (Sunshine Deelite) (7-2) - She has sharp early speed and is racing with blinkers on. Competitive in three of four, she tired last out after being bumped at the break going 5.5 furlongs at the Fair Grounds in an 'off the turf' contest March 3. She's dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #8 (Miss Mabelee) (6-1) - Freshened up since Feb. 23, she raced evenly when finishing a non-threatening fourth that day going a mile at this level at Delta Downs. Barn shortens her up and she's capable of getting a share, but at this point she's no real threat to 'Aloha Betty'.
4th pick: #5 (Linda's Legacy) (9-2) - One of five making their debuts, she's well bred and all three of her published drills are above average.
