Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (FLIRTY FLIRT) (2-1) - Competitive in all three sprints, this daughter of 'Power Broker' has been on the sidelines since finishing 4th after a slow start when going six furlongs on the Fair Grounds dirt Dec. 18. 4yo rallied to finish 2nd here going five furlongs on the grass when debuting July 24, and I give her a slight edge if ready.
2nd pick: #5 (Lone Star Diva) (10-1) - This longshot finished a wide and even 4th here sprinting on the dirt at this level June 10. It was her first since a useful effort in her grass debut at the Fair Grounds Feb. 22, and I think she's a win candidate at a big price.
3rd pick: #10 (Vita) (9-2) - 'Vita' moves up in class after missing by a 'nose' here when debuting at this distance for a $12,500 tag on June 12. Back in 20 days while moving up in class, she must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Party With Kassidy) (7-2) - She takes the same move up in class as 'Vita' after finishing 2nd when going 7.5 furlongs on June 13. Competitive in three of five on the turf, she should factor with a repeat of her latest effort.
