Top pick: #4 (HONEYCOMB ALLIE) (8-5) - Daughter of "Afleet Alex" comes off a career best when finishing second here at this level and distance on May 1. It was her first in nearly two months and ran her overall record to 4-0-2-2. In an excellent barn (Al Stall, Jr.), and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Silver Empire) (7-2) - Filly by "Pioneer of the Nile" raced evenly when finishing third here when debuting here in a grass sprint on May 17. Trainer Scott Gelner is having a strong meet, moves her to the dirt, and stretches her out in distance. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Monstress) (9-2) - Home-bred raced evenly here at this level on the grass May 21 in her first since Feb. 13th. Blinkers are added on a quick turnaround, and she should be competitive in this spot.
4th pick: #1 (Pulpit's Revenge) (10-1) - She had good position before being "stopped cold" while in heavy traffic on May 1. Daughter of "Pulpit" draws the rail and can factor at long odds with her best.
