2nd pick: #7 (Royalty Red Cat) - The probable favorite, he's run well in both grass starts and last out he finished 2nd in an "off the turf" contest at the Fair Grounds Feb 2nd. In his prior race he finished 3rd on the grass in New Orleans and was beaten only a length.
3rd pick: #9 (Fatal Strike) - Bred on both "top and Bottom" for grass success, this son of "Red Bullet" moves to the turf for the first time and does so off almost a 5 month layoff. Look for this colt to be competitive at a nice price.
4th pick: #5 (Paddle Heels) - Grey gelding has a new trainer (Carl Deville) and runs today off a two month layoff and on the grass for the first time. Home-bred probably has more talent than he's shown in his three appearances.
