Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (LORD ALEX) (3-1) - Freshened up since Feb. 17 colt has early speed an breaks from the rail. Competitive in both starts at Delta Downs earlier this year when he was dropped into claimers, he races off a private training change to Shane Wilson.
2nd pick: #2 (G's Big Red) (5-1) - Stalker drops to a new low and he's cutting back in distance. Very wide from a tough outside post going a mile at the Fair Grounds March 13, he's a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #9 (Closer to Ruston) (5-1) - Delta shipper drops back down and is another cutting back in distance. He has a speed/stalking style, and in his only previous attempt at this $7,500 claiming price he finished second here last June.
4th pick: #8 (Tricky Malibu) (8-1) - Longshot ran evenly after a very poor break when debuting March 11 at Delta Downs. The problem was not of his own doing and he may do much better with a clean getaway.
