Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (GO ANTE) (5-1) - Mare raced both wide and evenly at this level going 6.5 furlongs April 21 in her first start in two months. Stretch runner was in good form prior to the short break and should move forward in his attempt. She has a solid shot at a square price for breeder/owner/trainer Sam Breaux.
2nd pick: #2 (Bam Bam's Pride) (5-2) - The morning line and probable favorite, lightly-raced 4-year-old ran evenly in the same April 21 race as 'Go Ante.' Competitive in five of six before that effort, she has more early speed than most and that's a big plus against this group.
3rd pick: #4 (Wesley's Dream) (6-1) - Another who has raced evenly of late. Once classier type is cutting back in distance after a series of two-turn contests. Her connections recently dropped her down to this level but it' hasn't improved her much so far. Five-year-old needs to turn it around in this spot.
4th pick: #7 (Flashy Lynn) (6-1) - In very good form at present, filly won at this tag going shorter here April 13. She cleared the 2l condition that afternoon and followed that up with a third place finish April 28 at this level and distance. An obvious contender.
