Top pick: #4 (LIP SINKER) (3-1) - Long-time maiden enters off of three straight solid efforts, the latest a near miss here at this trip. Stalker can take this with a clean trip in this large field.
nd pick: #5 (Rocknocker) (6-1) - Lightly-raced gelding has some late kick and will be dropping down to this $7500 tag for the first time. He's been competitive in three of his last four and should factor in this spot.
rd pick: #9 (Sensational Star) (7-2) - Speed/stalker just missed here at this tag and trip April 17th and was a 1/2 length better than "Sinker" that evening. He has more speed than most and should be involved from start-to-finish.
th pick: #10 (Throwsomelimeonit) (12-1) - Longshot has finished fourth in three straight but hasn't seen action for nine months. Working OK and a good small barn (Shawn David) runs him without blinkers for the first time.
th pick: #7 (Earl and Vinegar) (12-1) - He has early speed and will be cutting back in distance. He has races in his past that fit with these and may be troublesome on the front end.
