Top pick: #5 (LIP SINKER) (8-5) - The probable favorite, well-bred gelding has one 4-0-2-1 since late Dec and stalker meets a very weak field. Four-year-old by "Unbridled's Song" should break his maiden with a "clean" break and a traffic free trip.
2nd pick: #7 (Salute Dereks Song) (8-1) - He raced evenly two back in a Delta Downs sprint, then tired badly there going two-turns after setting a pressured pace on March 6th. Gelding had a fine half-mile gate breeze here on April 2nd and can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #9 (Sensational Star) (9-2) - Lightly-raced gelding hasn't raced since Feb. 21 when he tired after a trouble start going a mile at Delta Downs. His best race came when he ran third on this surfacce Jan. 18. A threat if that effort is repeatable today.
4th pick: #6 (Robin's Sport) (10-1) - Longtime maiden has done some of his best running on this course 8-0-2-2 and will be racing off an 80 day break. He has some early speed and worked 6-furlongs on the local training track April 5th.
