3rd pick: #6 (Way Clever) (9-2) - One of two entered by trainer Scott Gelner and the pair race uncoupled. He surprised at odds of 16-1 when taking his debut at Evangeline on Aug 30th and has some sharp local drills heading into this.
4th pick: #1 (Jack in the Pops) (10-1) - Stalker broke his maiden here facing open"company at this distance Oct. 15. He has a recency edge on most, draws the rail, and is the only horse entered with a local score. Can factor at long odds.
