Top pick: #5 (LAYIN LOW) (5-2) - Colt is from the strong owner/trainer combo of Maggi Moss/Tom Amoss and waas bet heavily when debuting here in a 5-furlong sprint on March 1st. He rallied to finish fourth in a good educational first effort and he's brought back quickly and stretches out to a mile. All set.
2nd pick: #4 (Handsome Henny) (3-1) - Dangerous rival, he did well to finish second when debuting on a sloppy surface here going 6.5 furlongs on Feb. 6. In a good barn (Lee Thomas) and this grey son of the speedy "Henny Hughes" is also stretching out in distance.
3rd pick: #6 (Lily's Jackie Boy) (9-2) - He comes off a career best when he rallied to finish second here at this level going 7 fuslongs on Feb. 22. Trainer Henry Johnson has worked him twice since and a repeat of his last effort makes him a late threat.
4th pick: #7 (Bandini Moon) (8-1) - He has a bit of speed, but was 7 back of "Jackie" last out after setting the pace. He needs to do better for anything more than a minor award.
