2nd pick: #4 (Van R Sammy) (6-1) - He's shown good early speed in three straight at this level and catches a field where he can use it to good advantage.
3rd pick: #7 (Margies Etbauer) (5-1) - The type that can "run all day" he rallied to finish fourth in the same Feb. 8 contest as "Frank" and was almost 3 lengths back of him on the wire. The faster the pace, the better his prospects.
4th pick: #3 (Chickawaw Charlie) (5-1) - Classier type has been freshened up since Dec. 22 when he finished a wide third racing at this level going 6 furlongs at the Fair Grounds. Must be left in the mix, but he may be over-bet.
