Top pick: #4 (CAJUN EXPECTATION) (5-1) - He hasn't shown much in his first pair, but both came against much tougher. Trainer Ronnie Ward drops him into a claimer for the first time and this is a very weak field. I like his chances.
2nd pick: #3 (Monsieur Hood) (72) - He ran very poorly last out going a mile, but had finished 2nd and 3rd in his previous pair. Stalker is a win candidate if he repeats either of those two efforts.
3rd pick: #10 (Working Cajun) (8-1) - Price play went evenly in a 5 furlong sprint at this tag when debuting on Jan 25th. He's since come back with a pair of fine wprks and owner/trainer/breeder Doris Hebert will stretch him out in distance.
4th pick: #9 (Terrificat) (3-1) - He has some early speed and last out tired late to finish 5th in a 5 furlong contest on Feb 7th. His early foot makes him a bit dangerous.
