Top pick: #3 (MR MADLYN) (2-1) - Speed/stalker was a handy winner here at this tag and trip on Oct. 24. It was his first off a Karl Broberg claim and a subsequent 2 1/2 month layoff. It was his first local start and Broberg is on an unbelievable roll at this meet 46-21-8-6. The horse to beat, but make sure you reverse your exactas.
2nd pick: #1 (Righteous Party) (7-2) - Very quick from the gate, this 4-year-old by "Officer" breaks from the rail and is capable of running a sub :45 1/2 mile. He's gone 4-1-2-1 at this distance in the past and is a strong win candidate if ready for his first since Sept. 4.
3rd pick: #4 (Keystones Strike) (12-1) - Longshot is moving up in class after a solid effort here for half this tag Oct. 16. He had a tough outside post that evening, draws better, and is shortening up in distance. Three-year-old likes it here 6-1-3-1 and is a factor at a big price.
4th pick: #2 (Risky Forest) (5-2) - He pressed a fast pace and weakened late to finish third here when facing state-bred allowance foes Oct. 16. Solid effort was his first start since Aug. 20 and this consistent sort must be left in the mix.
