Top pick: #3 (SWEET LADY BUG) (3-1) - She was a sharp maiden winner here at this distance and tag on Jan. 16 in her first start in two months and first off a claim by Trainer Alan Klanfer. Lightly raced, well-bred, and she has room for upside.
nd pick: #5 (Yohottie Hottie) (6-1) - Owned/trained/and bred by Sam Breaux, filly rallied from just off the pace to finish second here at this tag facing "open" company on Feb. 13. The effort was her best to date and a repeat of it makes her a threat.
rd pick: #4 (Lively Stone) (5-1) - Price play was never involved on Feb. 13 in the same contest as "Hottie" and was claimed that day by Karl Broberg (25% off the claim). Look for a much better effort today.
th pick: #1 (Twin Skies) (10-1) - Longshot has faced better in all her starts (5-1-1-0) and trainer Bret Brinkman will drop her to a new low and adds blinkers. Contends at a nice price.
th pick: #8 (Itsjustblood) (10-1) - She showed nothing last out facing "open" first-level allowance foes on Feb. 7. Race was her first since Aug. 31 and trainer Henry Johnson drops her to a new low.
