(# 6) POPULIST - Improvement shown in start one to two for the Mike Trombetta barn. Trainer is deadly on the stretch out (41%), and filly should be prominent from the start in this distance race. Jockey Travis Dunkelberger makes the trip from Laurel.

(# 1) Eight Belles - Showed some speed in sprint debut. Stretches out, gets lasix and draws the rail for trainer Larry Jones.

(# 3) Rose Colored - Not much in sprint debut, but daughter of "Point Given" should do better with the longer nature of today's race. Jockey Santagata sees fit to make the trip here.

(# 4) Rough Water - Has already tried this distance unsucessfully, but the experience should help her in start number two going long.
