(# 4) ECRU EGRET - Good consistent performer drops in class for this after facing tougher since breaking his maiden impressively at Tampa in March 23. Gelding's speed figures are the most consistent of this group. In last over this turf, he had a wide post and broke poorly. Field was better than this and he still beat over half of them home. Expect him to run well.

(# 9) Triple Step - Makes second start for Steve Klesaris and he sent runner right to the grass in initial start for him. Gelding was shipped to Belmont and ran good race coming in third against $35K competition at six furlongs on the turf. Excellent race and trainer sends him longer in here.

(# 1) A.P.Awesome - Lightly raced, owns some speed and has the hedge. Expect him to be on or near the lead. Trainer Preciado is having a good year.

(# 5) Russian Go Go - Figures are a little light. Today he goes from dirt to turf for leading conditioner Mike Gorham. Looks like even when he runs a good race he still likes to settle for minor awards.
