Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (TELL THE TRUTH) (3-1) - Like all entered, this colt is racing on the grass for the first time. Bred for the surface, son of 'Tizway' raced a bit greenly when debuting in a five-furlong sprint at Presque Isle Downs July 3. Good barn (Graham Motion) brings him back quickly and and stretches him out in distance. Gets the edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Nonno) (4-1) - Well bred colt tired in his debuting sprinting on the Monmouth dirt June 18. Capable barn (Kelly Breen) moves him to the grass, stretches him out in distance, and ads blinkers. Son of 'Yes It's True' was bet down to 5-2 first out and it's a plus that Nik Juarez (who road him first out) makes the trip down I95 to ride him again.
3rd pick: #3 (Baytown Turls) (5-1) - Lasix is added to gelding who showed good early speed before weakening last out to finish third in a dirt sprint at Philadelphia Park. Believe he's dangerous in his turf debut.
4th pick: #2 (Roethlisberger) (5-2) - Colt was never involved when debuting at Belmont Park on a muddy surface May 5. He raced very greenly that day and probably has more talent than shown. He's bred for the grass and should factor in this spot.
