Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (FASHION FAUX PAS) (4-1) - A stakes winner on the dirt and stakes placed on the grass, she finished a pace-setting third in a $100K turf stakes going a mile May 17 at Pimlico. Trainer Arnaud Delacour switches her back to the dirt and this speed/stalker gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #9 (Proud Mandate) (7-2) - An easy winner of her first pair, both came in dirt sprints 8.5 months apart. An easy winner debuting Aug. 23 at Monmouth, she won her return May 7 at Philadelphia Park. Heavily backed in each, she's trying a two-turn distance and is facing stakes competition both for the first time.
3rd pick: #2 (Our Super Freak) (5-1) - The field's most experienced filly, she's gone 10-2-4-2 on the dirt and has been competitive without winning in five of her last six, all in stakes. She broke her maiden here in late October and that makes her the only one entered with a local victory.
4th pick: #1 (Pat's No Fool) (8-1) - New York bred won a $100K stakes going a mile March 31 at Aqueduct, then finished third, 4.5 lengths behind 'Our Super Freak' in a $125K stakes at Laurel April 20. Freshened up since, stalker has the rail, is working sharply, and is a threat at a big price.
