3rd pick: #4 (Getaway's Vow) (8-1) - Longshot ships from Monmouth where Jersey bred raced evenly in a pair of dirt sprints facing fellow state breds. Home bred earned figures that put her squarely in this and it's noted that jockey Delgadillo makes the drive down I-95 for the mount.
4th pick: #1 (Ridgemont High) (7-2) - The second of the two fillies trained by 'Ham' Smith, she rallied to finish fourth when debuting in a dirt sprint at Laurel Aug. 19. Daughter of 'Super Saver' is bred to handle both the grass and this longer trip. Price play.
