2nd pick: #6 (D K Edge) (8-5) - The probable heavy favorite, he's the second on the pair from the Babaran barn. Front runner just failed to last here at this level and distance Aug 26. He set the pace and missed by a 'head' in the last several strides. Obvious win candidate, but at a short price.
3rd pick: #1 (Awake At T Wire) (7-2) - Veteran offered a mild rally while splitting 'Odlum' and 'D K Edge' last out. He has a ground saving post and gets some weight off with apprentice Argueta aboard.
