Top pick: #2 (CHEROKEE RAIDER) - He's raced evenly in his last pair facing tougher and will drop back into a claimer. Grey 4-year-old by "Cherokee Run" is 5-for-5 (though he was disqualified once) over the past year when he's raced for a price tag. Stalker is one of a pair entered by leading trainer Juan Vazquez and they'll run as separate interests.
2nd pick: #6 (Tripplite) - The second of the Vazquez pair has plenty of speed and just failed to last here on Oct. 5 facing starter-allowance foes. Effort was solid and was his first since Aug. 17. His speed makes him a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Handsome Bruno) - He was just under two lengths back of "Tripplite" last out so will be taking the same drop as that runner. Steady performer was re-claimed by John Rigatteri two back and he's had alot of success with this veteran.
