Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (CAREY PRINCESS) (3-1) - Veteran mare moves back to the grass after tiring here in a pair of two-turn races on the main track. Most all of her success in her long career has come on the turf and speed/stalker gets the cal.
2nd pick: #6 (Vianney Lane) (6-1) - Another old timer, mare was sharpened up here in a five furlong sprint at this tag June 25. It was her first race since late October and trainer Liz Miller brings her back quickly and stretches her out to a distance she's won at in the past. Eight-year-old is two for four locally and is a serious win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Stately Defence) (4-1) - She's moving back to the grass following nine straight starts on the dirt. Speed/stalker is capable on the surface, has the rail, and enters of a solid 2nd place finish here on the main track June 8.
4th pick: #5 (Ava Again) (8-1) - Longshot has been in poor form since coming off a three month layoff in early December. She's racing second back of a two-month freshening and is dropping to a new low. Unless mare gets a fast/and or contested pace, her lack of speed will limit her to a minor award.
