Top pick: #6 (SETTLING FOR GOLD) - Daughter of "Seeking the Gold" has had the inside post in her last pair and rallied from far back in each, both facing special weights. Trainer Tim Ritchey will drop this home-bred into a claimer for the first time and she looks set for her maiden win.
2nd pick: #9 (Atlantic Tide) - She finished a distant second last out to a long gone good looking first-time-starter and this filly ran much better than it looks. Home-bred by "Stormy Atlantic" is in with a good veteran horseman (Tommy Voss) and can contend this afternoon.
3rd pick: #7 (Looks Like Sis) - Much improved in her three grass races, this filly has some speed and there isn't a lot of other visible pace signed-on. Three-year-old should be in this from start to finish.
4th pick: #3 (No Angel) - Filly by "Aptitude" is lightly raced, improving, and in her third back off a long layoff trainer Tommy Walsh will move her to the grass and stretch her out in distance. May factor at big odds.
