Top pick: #8 (MONA SARA) - Grey filly has finished second in her last pair, the latest of which came here at this level in the slop three weeks ago. Speed/stalker was competitive earlier this year against tougher and a repeat of her race here Oct. 5 should put her in the winner's circle.
2nd pick: #5 (Musical Mandate ) - Much improved since blinkers and lasix were added as she's finished second in two sprints since that time. Races second back off a seven week break and filly will stretch out in distance for the first time. Has more speed than most entered and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Tip Tap Toe ) - Drops off a two month layoff into a career soft spot and daughter of "Tapit" has been competitive facing tougher on the turf. Her lone dirt race was on the poor side but it came facing better. In a good small barn (Pete Levine) and she should run well on the drop in price.
