2nd pick: #5 (Special Gal) (3-1) - Home bred by 'Pioneer of the Nile' is another stretching out in distance. Filly had some traffic issues when checking in 1.5 lengths in back of 'Could Be Magic.' It was her first race in two months, and trainer Phil D'Amato adding blinkers. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Curricula) (8-1) - Longshot was away slowly before rallying to split 'Could Be Magic' and 'Special Gal' last out. It was her first race in four months and first after relocating on the West Coast from the Midwest.
4th pick: #2 (Summertimemischief) (8-1) - Improving filly moves up in class after finishing 2nd at this distance Oct. 14th at Santa Anita for a $75K tag. It was her first ever on the grass, and she can factor despite facing tougher.
5th pick: #4 (Sugary) (7-2) - No speed type hasn't been beaten by more than two lengths in all three grass races. This strong finisher is an obvious contender at a short price.
