3rd pick: #10 (Oso Smart) (8-1) - Gelding is taking a big drop, moves from turf to "poly," and is shortening up in distance in his first since early June. Three-year-old by "Curlin" fits on "figures" and can factor at a square price in this weak field.
4th pick: #6 (Warren's Sunny Boy) (6-1) - "Warren" tends to race evenly and that has led to three third-place finishes in his last five starts. He comes off a career best from a figure angle at Santa Anita Oct. 19 and can grab a share if he can repeat it on "poly."
5th pick: #11 (Bigley) (10-1) - Four-year-old raced evenly when debuting for a $30K tag Oct. 16. He's worked twice since, drops a notch, and he could grab a share of this with normal second out improvement.
