Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (WILDMAN JACK) (3-1) - Very competitive in all four starts, he's missed by a 'nose' in two straight at this level sprinting on the grass. The 3yo draws a tough outside post, but has has enough early speed to not let it hurt his chances. I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Blackout) (6-1) - French import is one of two entered by Peter Miller. Veteran has finished 2nd in three straight with a pair of those coming in grass sprints. 6yo drops in class and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Tiger Dad) (5-1) - Cal bred has gone 5-2-2-1 in grass sprints and was just under a length behind 'Wildman Jack' Oct. 5 at Santa Anita. The latest saw him miss by a 1/2 length facing tougher Oct. 18, and this speed/stalker should be involved every step.
4th pick: #10 (Stop the Violence) (9-2) - The second of the Miller trained pair, this lightly raced 4yo is shortening up in distance after checking in a close up 4th going a mile here Nov. 10. Both career wins have come at this sprint trip, and each has been on this course.
