Top pick: #2 (JULIET'S TIZZY) (3-1) - He some of the better races showing of those that have started and is racing first off a Bob Diodoro claim (a 29% winning angle). He's worked since the July 20 claim, and the high percentage barn brings him back quickly and at the purchase price. Gelding by "Tiznow" gets a slight edge in a competitive finale.
nd pick: #7 (Intoclassymischief) (7-2) - He has the best early speed of this large field and is training briskly for trainer Doug O'Neill. Grey gelding hasn't raced since Dec. 14, but his speed makes him very dangerous in this spot.
rd pick: #6 (Hidden Zensation) (6-1) - Another that has some early speed and is racing off a layoff (Jan. 10). Lightly raced gelding is working steadily for his return and will be running on a synthetic surface for the first time.
th pick: #11 (Broadcaster) (10-1) - Irish import has changed barns since he last raced on May 22, and will be dropping to a new low in class and racing on a "poly" track for the first time. Think he'll be competitive at a square price.
th pick: #8 (Shop Forever) (15-1) - Gelding ran both wide & evenly here at this tag after showing some early speed in his previous pair at Santa Anita. He breezed well on Aug. 4 and may grab a share at projected long odds.
