Top pick: #9 (THE FULL LAVINO) - Freshened-up since early June colt was showing some speed and finishing evenly at that point. Working fast and frequently for his return his trainer (John Sadler) is sharp off of layoffs (22%). Bejarano takes the re-ride and this colt is the top selection in a good betting race.
2nd pick: #2 (Willis) - Deep-closer will need some pace help and a trouble free trip, but could run them all down late if that's the case.
3rd pick: #3 (Night Justice) - First-timer by "Lit de Justice" is working fast for his debut and home-bred is with a good trainer (Peter Miller) and attracts the newly reinstated "P. Val". Could win it for fun if he runs to his works.
4th pick: #8 (Dazzling Raz) - Lightly raced four-year-old will cut-back in distance after finishing second at this level going two-turns on July 16. Comes-back quickly for this and is a stretch threat.
