Gelding by "Rock Hard Ten" has won two in a row and in his previous start finished second to the very talented "First Dude" who would be favored in here. Takes a big step up this afternoon but believe he's up to the task.
2nd pick: #4 (Spurrier) - Baffert representative is a hard-hitter that's training fast locally for his first start since racing evenly in the G2 Californian S. at Hollywood June 4. This will be his eighth straight Graded stakes attempt and grey 6-year-old has been competitive in most without winning. Son of "Dixieland Band" has run well here in the past and should do so again today.
3rd pick: #8 (Uh Oh Bango) - He finished fourth last out in the G1 Triple Bend going 7 furlongs and had won his two previous starts at this trip at Golden Gate Fields. Has some tactical speed so this post shouldn't hurt his chances. Can factor at a nice price.
