2nd pick: #9 (Lost Bus) (7-2) - Home bred was a daylight winner when debuting on the Santa Anita dirt on May 26th. She followed that up with a solid second-place finish here on July 18th in a $100K stakes and has had a trio of solid works since. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Long Hot Summer) (6-1) - Heavily bet when debuting here on Aug. 9, she rallied to win going away in a sharp initial outing. The figur' earned was a bit light in comparison with the top two selections, but she didn't have to run any faster that day. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #2 (Princess Bertrando) (15-1) - Improving sort has the most experience of these and was an easy maiden winner here Aug. 10. She's worked fast since and has proven that she can pass other horses. Late threat at a big price.
