Top pick: #2 (GOLDEN CENTS) (8-5) - The "class" of the field, he's better going longer, but is working fast for this, has a fine local record (3-1-2-0), and he was beaten by a "head" in the 2013 running of this G1 sprint. There's plenty of speed signed up, and he can win this with a late run.

2nd pick: #6 (Big Macher) (4-1) - Since being claimed by Rich Baltas a year ago, this speed/stalker has gone 9-4-2-2, and last out at Santa Anita he won a G2 sprint. Freshened up since that April 12 score, he's training fast locally and has won on a synthetic surface in the past.

3rd pick: #5 (Seeking the Sheriff) (4-1) - The speed of the speed. Since finishing "off the board" in his debut, this gelding by "Officer" has gone 7-6-1-0, all on real dirt. An obvious threat if he can reproduce his dirt form on the all weather surface.

4th pick: #3 (Declassify) (4-1) - Lightly raced colt re-rallied after he looked beaten last out to prevail by a "nose" at Santa Anita in the G1 Triple Bend stakes. This field is considerably tougher, and he'll need to do better for anything more than a smile slice.
