In shape, has the rail, and Bejarano is back aboard after a three race absence.
2nd pick: #2 (Wonderful Life) (8-1) - Longshot seems best on real dirt (5-2-2-0) and enters off a win two months ago at Los Alamitos facing weaker. Stalker fits with her best and is a factor from close range at a square price turning for home.
3rd pick: #3 (Our Pure Creation) (4-1) - Mare rallied to win a $100K stakes going 6.5 furlongs at Santa Anita Oct. 4th. She enjoyed 'first run' over 'Kiss At Midnight' and held that rival safe in the final 1/8th of a mile. A threat right back.
4th pick: #5 (My Monet) (3-1) - She has good early speed and moves back in with fellow Cal breds after finishing a distant 4th to champ 'Beholder' in the G1 Zenyatta at Santa Anita Sept. 26th. Very consistent, and she has a fine local record (4-1-2-0). Must be left in the mix.
