Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (NORWEGIAN) (2-1) - She enters off a pace chasing 2nd place finish going 5.5 furlongs Oct 18 at Santa Anita. It was only her 2nd start, first in a claimer, and first in blinkers. She gets a slight edge with Flavien Prat back on the re-ride.
2nd pick: #10 (Orca) (7-2) - Grey daughter of 'Mizzen Mast' tired when debuting facing much tougher Oct 14 at Santa Anita. Trainer Ron McAnally drops her into a claimer and she's in against a very weak group. Filly is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Tiz a Master) (6-1) - One of four making their debuts, filly is bred for speed, and back on July 29 she worked a bullet 3 furlongs from the gate here.Trainer Bill Morey wins at a 15% clip first out and this home bred need not be anything special to factor against this field.
4th pick: #8 (Equal Measure) (8-1) - Another of the debuting fillies, she's by the reliable 'Speightstown' and is from a capable barn (Tim Yakteen). Her a.m. drills on on the slow side so a minor award may be her ceiling.
