Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (LORD OF CHAOS) (3-1) - Four-year-old enters of a pair of third-place finishes at Santa Anita at this level. The latest on June 16 saw him rally despite some traffic issues as they approached the head of the stretch. Working very fast since, trainer Brian Koriner has a superior grass rider (Flavien Prat) aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #3 (The Big Train) (7-2) - On the sidelines since May 28, he raced evenly after a poor beginning in the $188K Snow Chief Stakes on the Santa Anita grass. Stretch runner had just missed at this level at Golden Gate Fields April 30 and races today with blinkers and Mike Smith added.
3rd pick: #1 (Gio Mio) (8-1) - Longshot is stretching out in distance and going dirt to grass in his second back from just under a five month layoff. He's just missed here last November in his turf debut, but showed nothing in a follow up race in early January. Think he can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Ashley's Song) (15-1) - NEW gelding also races with blinkers on. Away slowly when debuting May 19 at Santa Anita, he's working above average for this attempt. Think the changes can lead to a much better effort.
