Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (AMUSE) (2-1) - Lightly raced and beautifully bred, she's facing winners for the first time. 3yo by 'Medaglia d'Oro' had a very easy maiden victory Oct 12 at this distance at Santa Anita. She's worked fast twice here in recent days, and this filly looks like she may have a bright future.
2nd pick: #4 (Oozle) (5-2) - She makes her West Coast debut after breaking her maiden at this distance June 3 at Monmouth Park. Formerly with Chad Brown, she runs today following the 5.5 month layoff off a trainer change to Jeff Mullins. Lightly raced, she's worked a half-dozen times since Oct 16 and all have been well above average. A major danger to 'Amuse' if ready.
3rd pick: #5 (Sheza Chattykat) (7-2) - Stalker has been competitive in five straight sprints at this level, three on the dirt with a pair on the grass. She fits, has an experience edge on both 'Amuse' and 'Oozle', and ran well in her only previous local start.
