2nd pick: #10 (Stays in Vegas) (5-1) - Hard-hitter has gone 5-3-0-2 on the grass and with all of those starts coming in stakes. The distance isn't a problem and leading rider Flavien Prat is aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Barleysugar) (6-1) - Irish import was an easy winner of an $85K stakes here at this trip July 17. It was her first in this country and she should factor right back.
4th pick: #1 (Lady Valeur) (12-1) - Stalker has gone 8-2-4-0 so far with all of those coming on the grass. She draws a great inside post to save ground from and is a player at a big price.
5th pick: #11 (Tin Type Gal) (8-1) - Daughter of 'Tapit' ships from the East Coast where she won a G3 stakes on the Monmouth grass July 24. Lightly-raced, improving, and she must be left in the mix.
