2nd pick: #5 (Thirteen Squared) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Bob Baffert (24% first out), home bred has been working very fast since mid-June. She debuts with Bejarano aboard, and the trainer/jockey combo has won at a 32% rate over the past 20 months when teamed up.
3rd pick: #1 (Condi) (3-1) - $150K purchase set/pressed the pace before weakening to finish 3rd in a solid debut here July 30. Working fast since, she has the rail, and trainer John Sadler wins at a 31% rate second time out.
4th pick: #3 (Alluring Star) (9-2) - The second of the Baffert trained pair, she sold for $850,000 this past March. She's worked a half-dozen times here since mid-July and all have been well above average.
