Top pick: #3 (MIXIO) (9-2) - Nicely bred colt had a rough trip when finishing a close up 4th when debuting here at this level and distance Aug. 1st. He's worked four times since and can take this with a better trip.
2nd pick: #9 (Blue Law) (4-1) - Speed/stalker was only beaten 1 1/2 lengths racing here Aug. 22nd. Good effort came off a two month break, and he's a threat if able to avoid a wide trip.
3rd pick: #10 (Stardom Found) (12-1) - Colt hasn't raced since showing nothing in his debut in early Feb. at Gulfstream. Originally with Chad Brown, 3yo is now with Mike Stidham. Working well and blinkers go on.
4th pick: #6 (Unusually) (5-1) - He lost his rider last out, so race is an obvious 'toss.' He had been improving prior to that and must be left in the mix based on that form.
5th pick: #7 (Travel Bound) (20-1) - Longshot goes dirt to turf and stretches out in distance. Racing evenly on the main track, he's bred to handle the grass, and will be a very big price.
