Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (AMBERELLA) (5-2) - Lightly-raced, she's dropping in class for her second start off a 6 1/2 month layoff. Mare won her debut April 5 at Santa Anita, then tired to finish a close up fourth here facing tougher in her return race Oct 31. She's worked fast since, meets a weak field, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Scatchmeifyoucan) (4-1) - Very fast from the gate, she was a gate-to-wire maiden winner here Aug 28. Sent in for a two month break at that time, three-year-old tired badly here at this level Oct 30. She set very fast splits that day and should hang on much better today.
3rd pick: #7 (Flexible Ethics) (7-2) - Speed/stalker has been competitive in two straight here at this level. She draws outside of the other front end types and that will give jockey Marty Pedroza some early options.
4th pick: #5 (Sayitright Kat) (6-1) - She has some early speed and is shortening up in distance. Capable, but she needs to improve a bit over her current form.
