Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (DOMINIC'S WAY) (6-1) - Longshot showed good early speed while racing between horses before weakening in his well backed debut Sept. 2nd. He returns a NEW gelding and has noted front-end specialist Marty Pedroza aboard. Has a shot at a square price.
nd pick: #1 (Mountain Hero) (5-1) - Trainer Mike Puype drops him in class and adds blinkers for start #2. Gelding tired in his debut after dueling through fast fractions. Has the rail and should be involved from start-to-finish.
rd pick: #4 (Gone With It) (6-1) - He has an experience edge on most all and brings some early speed to the contest. Trainer Phil Oviedo drops him way down in class and he's worked him four times since his last start (Oct. 9th).
th pick: #11 (Classico) (9-5) - The morning line favorite, he's raced evenly in his first pair facing tougher. Heavily bet in both, he's dropping in class, moves off the rail, and Bejarano stays aboard. A threat, but no 'lock' at another short price.
th pick: #8 (Uluckydevil) (20-1) - He chased and tired badly when debuting at this tag Oct. 24th at Santa Anita. Home bred has worked twice since, including a sharp half-mile drill Nov. 9th. May grab a small slice at a very big price.
