Top pick: #6 (TRIBAL DUDE) (3-1) - He enters off a sharp win here at this tag and distance just eight days ago as he cleared the 2l condition. Stalker is now 4-2-0-1 at Del Mar and there's enough early speed signed on so that he can rally to take another.
2nd pick: #4 (Industry Leader) (7-2) - Speedy sort won from close range at Santa Anita Oct. 18 and did so despite a stumbling getaway. He's back in shape following his return from an 11 month layoff in early July and he's a threat right back.
3rd pick: #5 (Heyyoucan) (10-1) - Another with some early speed, he lost his rider last out at Santa Anita but had been very sharp in his previous pair. Gelding likes it here 4-2-1-0 and is a factor with a clean break.
4th pick: #2 (Qatar's Pearl) (8-1) - No-speed type was away "slowly" last out at Santa Anita but rallied into a fast pace to finish third. It was a career best overall and he would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
