Top pick: #3 (GAB POWER) - He's been freshened-up since a near miss at Hollywood Park April 27th and has run well off of breaks like this in the past. He was a winner on this surface last year and had a sharp recent 5-furlong work here that suggests he's ready for a big effort. Trainer Pete Eurton has him spotted nicely and this field came up a bit "lite" for the level.
2nd pick: #2 (Robbie's War) - He finished second last out at Hollywood with a powerful stretch run in what was his first back off a 9 month layoff. There's enough early speed to give him a favorable set-up and he's a threat turning for home.
3rd pick: #1 (Unex Dali) - English-bred broke his maiden on the at Pimlico this past May. He's since run well against fellow winners and appears to be living up to his fine breeding. Expect him to be a factor form his inside post.
